The very soul of reason (or not)

So my socks I am knitting for my dad have been going at about the pace of snails. Who didn’t get enough sleep the night before. And are covered in molasses. Seriously, whose brilliant idea was it to knit socks for a guy with size 1 needles???

Oh yeah… mine…

So I have decided I need something else to knit to keep me sane. The solution? More socks! BUT! These are ok because they are going to be with worsted weight yarn! On size big-for-socks needles! I’m not actually sure what size yet… I’m planning on using the Universal Toe-Up Sock Formula off Knitty, and I haven’t done any of my calculations yet. I think it might be size 6s or so… but in any case, I’m excited. I’ve never knit a sock toe-up before, so it should be fun. I’m also planning on making them out of the yarn that I made my Fetching gloves with and using the rib and cable pattern from them o they match. Because every girl needs a matching pair of fingerless gloves and socks in a really bright red.
